Description

This print is of a cute Red Panda eating some shoots of bamboo leaves. The background of this illustration is a map of China , where these where these beautiful but endangered animals come from. This print is on a matte art paper that will look beautiful for many years to come, and comes with a white mat that will fit in any 11×14 standard frame.

Red Pandas live in the Eastern Himalayas, in places like China, Nepal, and Bhutan. They spend most of their time in trees, where they use their bushy tails for balance to move from branch to branch. They also use their iconic striped tails to wrap around themselves to keep warm in the winter. Unfortunately, the Red Panda is losing their habitat as the number of nesting trees in the Himalayas (and the amount of bamboo) decrease. Red Pandas feed mainly on leaves and bamboo, but they also occasionally snack on fruit, insects, small lizards, and bird eggs. They are about the size of a large domestic house cat.

Perfect gift for the Red Panda lover! Comes shipped in an eco-friendly plastic bag made in a sustainable way, and with a recycled chipboard backing. Frame NOT included.
