Description
Matted Print of the Thoroughbred breed from the “Horses of the World” series of horse breeds illustrated on vintage maps. High-quality print on glossy photo stock, matted with a white 11×14 mat. Ready to frame and display!
The Thoroughbred was bred in 17th and 18th century England when native mares were bred with Oriental stallions such as the Arabian. The Thoroughbred has since spread throughout the world and has been crossbred with dozens of others to either create new horse breeds or to bring out specific characteristics in existing ones. Because of the origin of the breed through Oriental stallions and English mares, and then the spread of the horses throughout the world, I thought this map was the most appropriate for this breed!
Comes shipped in an eco-friendly plastic bag made in a sustainable way, and with a recycled chipboard backing. Frame NOT included.
Note that the watermark in the product image is not on the final print.
